'Undead' which means immortal beings was used by a novelist, Bram Stoker in the late 19th century. In his novel 'Undead' was a dracula's name but later it began to name supernatural beings like vampires or zombies.
Zombie is a corpse which is moving around. It was originated from the myth of religious group but there are similar beings in other countries myths.
These immotal beings lead miserable life because they will not be dead although they want to be dead.
Literary works have made people regard eternal life without being dead as not a blessing but a curse.
